A Feeling of the Unknown
You stand alone. You are in a desert, on a moonless night. You hear life, but it is not the sounds of life you should expect to hear. A sense of wrongness fills you, but you are not afraid. The unknown embraces you and you embrace it in return. This wrongness is comforting, yet strange. You do not remember how or why you came here. You know you came from somewhere else, but all details escape you. You find you do not care. It does not matter now. You are safe in this otherness, in this distorted world.
